A space to be you
Starting counselling can feel like a big step. You don´t need to know exactly why you´re here. Whether life feels difficult, something just feels off, or you simply need a space where you can be yourself and heard, you´re welcome here.
I work online, offering flexible appointments to fit around work, study, and family life.
Reduced daytime rates are available for students and people on low incomes.
If you´ve ever felt that counselling wasn´t really for you, you´re not alone. My approach is person-centred, which means we´ll begin with you - not a formula.
A space to explore your thoughts and feelings, and make sense of what’s going on for you.
Feeling more grounded, consistent, and less pulled in different directions.
Making choices that feel natural, rather than shaped by pressure or expectation, and developing a stronger sense of your authentic self.

Hi, I’m Yasmin.
I’m a qualified person-centred counsellor and psychotherapist, registered with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). I work in line with their ethical framework, offering a safe, confidential and accepting space for adults online.
I’ve always been interested in people — what shapes us, how we cope, and how we make sense of our experiences. That curiosity led me to study psychology and eventually train as a counsellor.
I´m particularly interested in working with people who may have felt that counselling wasn´t designed with them in mind. Whether you´ve never considered therapy before, or you´ve tried it and it didn´t feel like the right fit, I believe everyone deserves a space where they can feel comfortable enough to be themselves.
Before becoming a counsellor, I worked in prison and probation services, supporting people from many different backgrounds and walks of life. Alongside my own life experiences, this has taught me not to make assumptions about people or the paths they´ve taken.
Every person has a unique story, and everyone deserves to be met with warmth, curiosity and compassion - not judgement. My hope is that when you arrive here, you´ll find a space where you can simply be yourself.

I practice person-centred therapy because I believe everyone deserves a space where they can be themselves. When we´re met with warmth, acceptance and genuine understanding, we often begin to understand ourselves more clearly.
Rather than telling you what to do or offering quick solutions, I work alongside you. Together, we´ll explore your experiences, your thoughts and what matters most to you, trusting that you are the expert in your own life.
Meaningful therapy begins with a genuine relationship. I aim to show up as my authentic self, so you can feel safe to do the same.
You don’t need to have everything figured out before coming to therapy.
I aim to be open, focused, and engaged in our sessions.
You don´t have to be a different version of yourself to belong here.
Together we´ll make sense of your experiences, at your own pace.
The focus isn’t just on listening, but on helping you feel understood.
I offer weekly online counselling sessions lasting 50 minutes via Google Meet. To make therapy more accessible, I provide a number of reduced-fee daytime appointments, alongside standard afternoon and evening sessions.
Accessible daytime sessions (09:00 – 14:00)

Introductory Call
I offer a free 15-minute introductory call. This gives us a chance to briefly meet, discuss what you’re looking for, ask any questions, and see whether working together feels right. I can also guide you through how online sessions work if you’re new to them.
Important for online sessions:
Feel free to contact me if you have any questions about how counselling works, or to arrange an initial assessment appointment. This enables us to discuss the reasons you are thinking of coming to counselling, whether it could be helpful for you and whether I am the right therapist to help.
This summer, I'm offering a 6-week counselling package at a reduced rate of £240 (£40 per weekly session).
Sometimes the most valuable investment we make is in the relationship we have with ourselves.
